Getting Care at Stanford
Stanford Hospital & Clinics and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital offer a full range of services to its patients and visitors.

Fees
Financial counselors are available to help you resolve insurance problems. Prospective patients or their families can visit Financial and Insurance Information for further details about medical costs and payment methods.
Prescription Refills
Requests for prescription refills will be processed within two to three business days. Please Phone: (650) 723-4720, and have your medication information in hand. You will be prompted for the following information. Press the # key on your phone to continue to next prompt:
- Your full name and spelling of your last name
- Medical record number or Date of Birth
- Your phone number
- Your doctor's name
- Name and strength of the medication
- Quantity requested and date you last refilled the prescription
- Name and phone number of your pharmacy
Hospitalization
If surgery is recommended, Clinic staff will assist you with any diagnostic tests that may be needed, schedule surgery and provide information about hospitalization. If you are scheduled to be admitted to the Hospital, a Patient Representative from Patient Admitting Services will contact you before your admission date to obtain pre-registration information.
Guest Services
Patient Representation provides problem solving and mediation assistance to patients in order to address their questions and concerns. They are available to provide resolution for any issues patients and family members may have with their care experience. Lucile Packard Children's Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility created especially for the care of children and offers a full range of services to its patients, families and visitors.
