Dr. Ju comes from Taipei, Taiwan, where he is a general attending neurosurgeon at the Tri-Service General Hospital. He maintains an active general neurosurgical practice, in addition to special interest and activity in the subspecialty of functional neurosurgery. He earned his medical degree at the National Defense Medical Center in Taipei. He is a member of the Surgical Association of Republic of China, the Neurosurgical Society of Republic of China, Chinese Association for Endoscopic Surgery, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Ju has come to Stanford in order to study stereotactic radiosurgical techniques with the Cyberknife©.

Trained in the use of stereotactic radiosurgery, Dr. Schneider is a board-certified psychiatrist. He is focused on advanced neurointerventional treatments for psychiatry and neurology.

He obtained a BA from Washington University in St. Louis, an MD from Rush Medical College, and did a clinical residency in Psychiatry at UCLA. He completed a fellowship in Advanced Psychiatry and a fellowship in Stereotactic Radiosurgery at Stanford.

Dr. Schneider also has a private practice in Palo Alto specializing in the treatment of mood disorders with approaches including psychotherapy, medications and transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS).
