Stephanie Kemp
Program Manager

Stephanie Kemp is the Program Manager for the Stanford Stroke Center. She joined the Stroke Center in 1993 and has extensive experience in regulatory management and FDA guidelines. She oversees the administrative and research staff as well as all clinical trials performed at the Stroke Center.

Irina Eyngorn
Clinical Research Coordinator

Irina Eyngorn joined the Stanford Stroke Center in 2001. She coordinates several ongoing clinical trials at the Stroke Center. Currently, she is involved in studies predicting outcome in comatose survivors after cardiac arrest, using MRI and biomarkers, and assessing the utility of diffusion- and perfusion-weighted MRI and Xenon CT perfusion for the evaluation of acute stroke patients.

Madelleine Garcia
Clinical Research Coordinator

Madelleine Garcia is a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Stanford Stroke Center. She has been with the Stroke Center since 1998. She oversees secondary stroke prevention trials and maintains the stroke database which includes all patients seen by the Stroke Center.

Rosita Thiessen
Clinical Research Coordinator

Rosita Thiessen joined the Stanford Stroke Center in March 2014.  She is a certified Clinical Research Coordinator with extensive clinical research experience. She has collaborated on various NIH sponsored research studies as well as Industry sponsored clinical trials.  She will be involved in acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke trials and will provide administrative and regulatory support for the neurocritical care research projects.

Haihong Nguyen
Administrative Associate

Haihong Nguyen is an Administrative Associate, providing support to Drs. Anna Finley Caulfield, Neil Schwartz, and Chitra Venkatasubramanian. In addition, she is the program coordinator for the UCNS-accredited Neurocritical Care Fellowship Program, and she provides study regulatory support. She has been with the Stanford Stroke Center since 2007.

Evelyn Ray
Administrative Associate

Evelyn Ray is an Administrative Associate, providing support to Drs. Gregory Albers, Maarten Lansberg, Karen Hirsch, and Waimei Amy Tai. Evelyn is also the program coordinator for the ACGME-accredited Vascular Neurology Fellowship Program. She has been with the Stroke Center since 2003 and has been employed through Stanford Hospital and Stanford University Medical Center for 25 years.

Emma Adair
Clinical Research Coordinator

Emma Adair joined the Stanford Stroke Center in 2015. She earned her B.S. with honors from Carnegie Mellon and has been managing NIH sponsored studies at Stanford since 2012. She is the lead coordinator for the DEFUSE3 trial.

Kacey Berry
Clinical Research Coordinator

A Berkeley native, Kacey graduated with a B.A. in Neuroscience from Bowdoin College in 2013. After spending a year as a Fulbright Research Grantee in Munich, Germany, and then another year split between Munich and Rome, Italy, Kacey was thrilled to return to the Bay Area and begin work at the Stanford Stroke Center in 2015. She works closely with Drs. Marion Buckwalter and Maarten Lansberg as the lead coordinator for the Stroke Collaborative Action Network studies, which seek to understand stroke recovery in the weeks and months after stroke. 

Maria Aragones
Medical Assistant/Practice Care Coordinator

Maria is the Medical Assistant/Practice Care Coordinator for the Stroke Clinic.  She greets and rooms clinic patients and makes follow-up calls to check on the progress of patients who are discharged from the hospital. Maria trained as a medical assistant  2008-2009. Before working at Stanford, she was a medical assistant in at a clinic in Los Gatos.
