Stanford Research Computing Center

The SRCC offers a comprehensive computational service that is jointly sponsored by the Dean of Research and University IT.  The SRCC team has in-depth expertise across the spectrum of HPC and data management services, including storage and filesystems, local and wide-area networking, job schedulers and resource managers, monitoring, operating systems, system security and compliance (HIPAA, dbGap, and other regulatory standards), GPUs and CUDA, large memory systems, supercomputers, vendor management, inventory, and user management.

Research IT

Research IT is part of the School of Medicine Information Resources and Technology  team and is responsible for Stanford Medicine federated data commons, STARR, and other HIPAA-compliant research tools, such as REDCap Electronic Data Capture system and CHOIR learning health system. The Research IT team has in-depth expertise across the spectrum of clinical informatics, regulatory compliance, application security and data privacy, standards, and related technologies including Big Data and Cloud. Research IT additionally provides technology consultations and custom software development for Stanford researchers.
