Stanford MSTP BOOST
Stanford MSTP BOOST (Bridge to Opportunity, Support, and Training) is a program sponsored by the Stanford School of Medicine, MSTP, and Stanford School of Medicine’s REACH Initiative. BOOST aims to introduce diverse college students to the Stanford University community and offer professional development that prepares students for the MD-PhD admissions process. Eligible applicants must be interested in pursuing an MD-PhD.
BOOST will be held in person on the Stanford medical campus from April 24-26, 2024. Travel, housing, and meals will be covered for admitted scholars. Opportunities provided include:
- Networking with faculty and MD-PhD students
- Mock interviews for MD-PhD admissions
- Longitudinal guidance from a current student
- Personalized assistance with professional documents (e.g. CV, etc.)
- One-on-one meetings with Stanford PIs
