Andrew is a native to the Bay Area, having grown up in Palo Alto and graduated from Gunn High School in 2008. He then moved south along the California coast to Santa Barbara, where he is currently pursuing a BS degree in Biological Sciences. He has worked as a research assistant in the lab during the summers of 2009 and 2010, learning and applying molecular biology skills as well as engineering a variety of useful tools for current cell and animal experiments. In his spare time Andrew is an avid football fan, and has been known to ride his bike backwards through the neighborhood to celebrate a 49ers touchdown.
