Say No To Raw Kangaroo Meat

Australian doctors are warning that if you eat kangaroo meat that is so rare as to be "oozing with blood" - and who doesn't - that you risk contracting a potentially fatal disease know as toxoplasmosis. The warning followed an outbreak of the disease in late 1994 after rare kangaroo meat was eaten by a group of people at a Christmas party in a Brisbane restaurant. The natural host for this disease is cats - so you shouldn't eat them either. If you simply must have your kangaroo meat, or if you're planning on distributing this healthy alternative to M&Ms this Halloween, then the doctors recommend you cook it at 142 degrees Fahrenheit for four minutes.
