The Center for Education in Family and Community Medicine

Sean P. David, MD, SM, DPhil,
seandavidmd Sean David, MD
clinical associate professor, trained in Family Medicine at Dartmouth Medical School before completing a masters in health and social behavior at the Harvard School of Public Health. He then joined the faculty of the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. At Brown, he was a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Generalist Physician Faculty Scholar and directed and founded the Primary Care Genetics Laboratory and Translational Research Center and the C. Everett Koop Health Policy Fellowship. He was Director of the Research Division of the Department of Family Medicine.

His research is focused on personalized medicine for smoking cessation through preclinical neuroimaging studies and pharmacogenomic clinical trials. He is seeing patients with the Stanford Family Medicine Group at Hoover Pavillion and is based in the Center for Education in Family and Community Medicine.
