Capital Assets
If you manage capital assets, you must know:
Our funding agencies require us to track capital assets from their purchase to retirement. This includes leased, loaned, and donated equipment.
Capital assets must be entered into the Sunflower Asset Management System, tagged with a Stanford University bar code property tag, and information on their location and use status must be kept up-to-date.
If you have questions, the Property Management Office is responsible for property administration. Jennie Pham can assist with any questions about property administration for the School of Medicine and for any Dean's office requests.
