Program Coordinator Assistant (PCA)

Position Details:

The Program Coordinator Assistant supports the CSI Program Coordinator in day-to-day operations including, but not limited to: lab set up and take down, transporting equipment, leading participants to various activities, audio-video set up, photocopying, distributing supplies, lunch set up and take down. This position is only available during the 2-week summer sesssions of Stanford CSI on a part-time basis.

High school seniors and undergraduate students are eligible to apply. Applicants will be required to provide a resume, proof of high school graduation, and one letter of recommendation from either an academic or professional reference.

Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check if offered the position. Candidates who are over 18 years of age and older will also need to complete LiveScan fingerprinting.

Note: CSI alumni and previous PCAs do not need to provide a reference.

CSI Student Instructor

Position Details:

CSI Instructors support the CSI Directors and affiliated faculty with various lectures, hands-on activities, clinical simulations, dissections, and more. Schedules are flexible throughout both 2-week sessions. This position is only available during the 2-week summer sesssions of Stanford CSI.

Medical students, physican assistant (PA) students, interns, residents, fellows are eligible to apply. Applicants will be required to provide a resume and either an academic or professional reference.

Resident Advisor (RA)

Position Details:

The Resident Advisor (RA) is a live-in, paraprofessional staff member and is responsible for cultivating a safe and inclusive community experience for all CSI Interns (up to 10 participants) under age 18.

The RA resides in the dorm with CSI Interns, serves as a role model and commits to being on-site from 4:00PM to 9:00AM on weekdays and is on duty 24/7 on the weekends. RAs must plan and facilitate weekly evening group activities as well as provide supervision at the SCRA social party over the weekend. In addition, RAs are expected to do the following: know and abide by University policies including but not limited to the Guidelines for Programs with Minors, the CSI Code of Conduct, the Controlled Substances and Alcohol Policy, the Smoking Policy, the Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault policies; be responsible and professional community leaders; and exercise common sense and mature, good judgement in their interactions or relationships with CSI Interns.

Interested applicants must be 21 or over and have prior experience as an RA or in a similar capacity. One female and one male RA will be hired. Applicants will be required to provide a resume and two references, providing at least one academic and one professional reference. This position is only available during the 2-week summer sessions of Stanford CSI.
