The Registrar’s Office serves the educational community of Stanford University School of Medicine by maintaining the official record of each student and providing appropriate data to further the educational process of the school. The office also coordinates the Visiting Student program that allows students from other medical schools to participate in clinical electives.
Among the services we provide:
- notify students of important dates and deadlines
- assist students with course enrollment issues
- maintain the weekly clerkship draw program; help students enroll in clerkships
- process USMLE applications
- provide letters of good standing
- track the academic progress of each student
- guide senior students in the Residency Match process
- licensing and degree verification services
- troubleshoot the various challenges that students may encounter
in the course of their medical school career.
