School of Medicine Registrar's Office Reduced/Research Tuition Rate Eligibility
The Medical School Reduced Research Tuition Rate is assessed:
- In quarters in which student engages in 100% research, regardless of source of funding
- Students engaging in 100% research must request that the SoM Registrar’s Office adjust their tuition to the research rate.

- Students engaging in 100% research must request that the SoM Registrar’s Office adjust their tuition to the research rate.
- After 12 quarters of the full tuition Residency Requirement has been met;
- Tuition will automatically be adjusted to research rate after 12 quarters if full MD tuition has been met.

- The Med Scholars staff will adjust tuition to the Research Rate. For questions, contact Med Scholars.

- In quarters in which student has combined Med Scholars with research/teaching assistantship (student cannot enroll in required coursework);
