JOINING THE LU LAB AS A POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER

Independent and creative PhD students interested in joining the lab to pursue research in any areas of neuronal development, function, and maintenance are encouraged to contact Dr. Lu about postdoctoral opportunities well ahead of their desired start date, preferably one year in advance.  Postdocs are encouraged to apply for independent fellowships, although there will be grant funds to support specific projects.  When inquiring about positions, please email a statement of research interests and professional goals, a curriculum vitae including a list of publications, and contact information for three references to Dr. Bingwei Lu (bingwei@stanford.edu).

JOINING THE LU LAB AS A GRADUATE STUDENT

We are currently accepting graduate students. The Graduate Bioscience Admissions program coordinates all graduate admissions in the biological sciences across Stanford. Please consult their website for the current application procedures (link below). If you are interested in joining the Lu lab, be sure to list Dr. Lu as a potential advisor on your application form and indicate “Neuroscience” or “Cancer Biology” as your home program choice.

Undergraduates interested in neurobiology, stem cell biology, genetics, cancer biology, developmental biology, or human disease research are encouraged to inquire about joining the lab. Please email Dr. Lu with your interests and we will arrange a meeting to discuss projects.
