This is one of the several double door isolation rooms with a positive pressure ventilation system used for bone marrow transplant recipients. The anteroom has a sink for handwashing and cupboards for isolation equipment.
In addition to the patient's bed, there is a bed under the window that one parent can sleep in overnight. There is also a private bathroom within the room. To the left, which you cannot see, is a counter with a sink, and storage shelves. Each room also has a television and many have VCRs. Video game hookups are easily accessible, and video games may be borrowed from Recreation therapy.
