Special Events
May 17, 2004. Dedication
of the Vera Moulton Wall Center Research Laboratories. Speakers
included Stanford School of Medicine's Dean Phillip A. Pizzo and
the Wall Center's Research Director Dr. Marlene Rabinovitch. Tours of the laboratories were conducted and refreshments enjoyed
by all. Attendance by members of the Dunlevie family made the event
particularly memorable.
April 30, 2004.
Neonatologists from various regions and institutions in France visit
Stanford for a symposium hosted by Dr. Richard Bland. The symposium
featured invited speakers Dr. Bernard Thebaud from the University
of Alberta, Dr. Kurt H. Albertine from the University of Utah, and
a presentation by Dr. Bland. The visitors toured Stanford's CAPE,
the PICU, the NICU, attended the weekly LPCH Perinatal Conference,
and lunched at the California Café. Read
