More Information and Resources
Where to get Dreamweaver
- You can download a free 30-day trial version from the Macromedia Web site. NOTE: If you plan to purchase a copy through Stanford (next item) use the Stanford Software Licensing installer and avoid the free trial version to avoid installation problems later.
- Buy Dreamweaver through your regular local procurement process. Contribute is available for purchase through Stanford Software Licensing (SUNet ID required to view). See the Complete Part Number List (pdf) for purchasing codes for just Contribute.
- Dreamweaver is also available from the Stanford Bookstore, as well as the Adobe Education Store (for educational version).
Secure Access
All new connections use the WebDAV method, which uses your SUNet ID and password as the login. If you are using an older version of Dreamweaver, or the older SFTP connection method, you should upgrade to the latest version of Dreamweaver, and request WebDAV access from Web Help.
