Publish, Send for Review, Save for Later or Cancel

You have three choices for what to do with your page now.

NOTE: Users assigned to the "Author" role generally cannot publish to the live site and will only be able to Send for Review, Save for Later or Cancel.

Option 1: Publish

Click the "Publish" button only if you want your changes to be sent to the server now. This will update the public Web page, and changes are public immediately. When completed, Contribute will congratulate you and return you to preview mode.

Don't forget to check your page in a Web browser; don't forget to reload/refresh
Don't worry if you find a mistake or problem with the page. You can either re-edit it to fix it, or use the Roll Back command to return to the previous version.

Option 2: Save for Later

Click "Save for Later" if you want to save your changes but don't want to publish them yet. You can call up your edited version of the page again in a later session, but only from the same computer.

Option 3: Send for Review

Click "Send for Review " if you wish to submit your page changes for review before publication. You will need to use the resulting dialog box to tell Contribute who to send the changes to.

You can provide notes in the "Description..." field. Contribute will auto-launch your default email browser and create a stock email to the recipient(s) with a link to your unpublished draft.

Option 4: Cancel / Discard Draft

Click "Cancel/Discard Draft" if you wish to exit from Edit mode without saving any changes to the page. A dialog box will ask if you are sure you don't want to save your changes. You will be returned to a preview of the page.
