Blogs

A weblog, or "blog," is a sequential Web publication using a server software called Moveable Type. Blog authors post new entries using a Web form, which populate the blog site with pages, without the use of Dreamweaver or Contribute. Excerpts of postings are typically displayed on the blog home page in reverse chronological order. Blogs can be used to create online journals, newsletters, guestbooks and forums. If so configured, users can send comments on the postings, which, if approved by the poster, are displayed with the posting.

Blogs hosted by IRT require the use of one of IRT's standard formats. Blogs can be integrated into existing Web sites, or hosted independently. Here are a sampling of demo blogs:
