Reggie, online event registration
Registration Form Builder allows School of Medicine faculty and staff
to provide online registration for events, meetings, seminars, conferences,
non-curriculum courses, or any other gatherings of any size that require
registration. It is built to work for single events, events that occur
in
a series, or multiple-session events.
Standby Registration
If your event attracts
more registrants than seats, registrants are offered the option
to register for standby. You can then re-invite them if/when
seats become available for the event.
The course administrator logs onto the system, fills out two simple forms
and the registration application is automatically generated and is instantly
available on the web via an assigned URL. The course administrator can
then add a link to the online registration on his/her site. From the system,
the administrator can monitor the details of the process and perform functions
such as sending bulk email to all registrants and other administrative
functions.
Who can use this system
This system is intended for and faculty or staff of the Stanford Medical
community. While only Stanford faculty and staff can create and manage courses
and events, anyone can sign up for them.
About username, password and logon
You must give a username and password to use this system. This is required
so that only you will have access to view and manage your courses and events.
It is very important that you DO NOT USE YOUR SUNET ID for this system.
At this point some staff members at IRT will be able to see you password
in clear text so don't use a password that you also use to protect vital
and sensitive information.
How to get started
The first thing you must do to get started is to register as an "Owner."
As an owner you can create forms for your courses and events, receive email
from registrants and view registrants on your own web pages.
Once you have registered as an owner you will be automatically taken
to the "Owner Home Page." There are options to change Owner
Profile and to"create a new form." Choose "create a new
form" and you will see a new page that asks for basic information
on the course or event you are publishing.
For more information and instructions, click on the "Help/Information"
button when you get to Registration Form Builder.
