E-mail Aliases

Owners of School of Medicine sites are encouraged to set up custom e-mail forwarding aliases. Our custom email addresses take the form "abcxyz@med.stanford.edu" only. Mail sent to these addresses are forwarded to one or several users responsible for answering site specific inquiries and suggestions.

For example, the users gerhard@leland.stanford.edu and gates@microsoft.com might receive mail for http://med.stanford.edu/world-domination/ at the forwarding address world-domination@med.stanford.edu.

This way, users write to a single address, even after a transfer of site ownership (or shift in the world political climate).

The URL of your site
The email alias you want, i.e. youralias@med.stanford.edu; you might want to think of a couple of options, in case the one you want is already taken.
The email addresses of everyone (even if it's just you) you want to receive the email.
If you do not have a SUNet ID please provide the SUNet ID and contact information for your Stanford supervisor or sponsor.

Note: If you will be using the alias in an Email Form, you will need to let us know so we can include it in FormMail
