Community Academic Profiles (CAP): An online resource that describes the primary appointments, research activities and publications of school faculty and researchers. The system automatically imports new publications for our faculty from PubMed and tracks personnel changes via People Soft. Profiles can be linked from any site, and can be integrated with sites that use the SoM Web format.

Clinical Trial Directory: Comprehensive listings of all clinical trials at Stanford and integrated with clinicaltrials.gov to meet registration requirements for publication. Currently in development and slated for release in Fall 2006.

Online Survey Creation Tool: This online survey creation tool supports both public, non-secured anonymous surveys and Stanford-only secure surveys. It offers complete data tabulation and summary reports through a secure administrative URL and it can hide user ids for HIPAA-compliant reporting.

SoM Image Catalog: We have a library of photos, icons, logos, illustrations and headers available for your use.

Webtrends: We support WebTrends, a software tool that provides in-depth analysis of a site’s traffic. Reports can be customized to show the number of visitors per page, the most popular pages, traffic flow over time or at a certain time of day, and much more.

New Media: We support a range of new media content that can be used to enhance your site or to extend the reach of your group's online communications. These include online video, online audio and podcasting.

School of Medicine Seminars Calendar: This calendar offers a dynamic compendium of seminars and other events at the Medical Center. If you would like an event added or changed, please contact the appropriate maintainer from the online calendar contact list.

Paging Service: As a customizable front-end application for the Stanford Smartpage system, this application supports the decentralized maintenance of customized pager directories for departments, divisions, residency programs and other users. This application can replace a number of home-grown textpaging directories that bypass the internal paging systems.

Registration Form Builder: Online Registration for any School of Medicine event. Provide online registration for events, meetings, seminars, conferences, non-curriculum courses, or any other gatherings of any size that require registration. All setup can be done online, for just about any kind of event or series of events.

Blogs: IRT can set up a blog " using Movable Type. The classic blog is site where sequential "postings" are displayed in reverse chronological order. Blogs can also be adapted for use as forums, guestbooks, or secured document repositories.

Custom/Vanity URLs: Your site will automatically be available online through an "hierarchical" URL such as http://med.stanford.edu/yoursite/. However, depending on your audience and marketing needs, you may want to give your site a custom URL such as http://yoursite.stanford.edu/.

Feedback & Data Collection Form: These forms provide an easy-to-use channel through which site visitors can submit non-sensitive, HIPAA-compliant information, ask questions or make requests for services.

Password-Protected Content: We offer a number of flexible options for ensuring the security of your site and limiting access to a defined audience.

Calendars Online: IRT Calendars Online allows School of Medicine departments, centers, labs, and other organizations to maintain and view their own fully web-based calendar. Great for events, room scheduling, on-call schedules, etc.

Departmental E-mail aliases: Set up e-mail aliases like bobsclinic@med.stanford.edu so that users always know where to reach you.
