Community Academic Profiles (CAP)
An online resource that describes the primary appointments, research activities and publications of school faculty and researchers. Lists of faculty can be displayed by department, thus integrated nicely into departmental Web sites.
Clinical Trial Directory
Comprehensive listings of all clinical trials at Stanford. Lists can be displayed by department or by condition. Each of these list types can be intetrated into Stanford Medicine Web sites.
Biomedical Seminars Calendar
This calendar offers a dynamic compendium of seminars and other events at the Medical Center, and can be segmented by department and division.
Newswire
Departmental news authors can either create their own news stories or choose from existing news stories to build their list.
Online Survey Creation Tool
This online survey creation tool supports both public, non-secured anonymous surveys and Stanford-only secure surveys. It offers complete data tabulation and summary reports through a secure administrative URL and it can hide user ids for HIPAA-compliant reporting.
Blogs
Our Blog software is Movable Type. The classic blog is where one person hosts the blog by posting information for others to read and submit comments. The host can choose to display comments automatically or approve individual comments before displaying. Blogs can also be adapted for use as forums, guestbooks, or secured document repositories.
Email Forms for Data Collection
These forms provide an easy-to-use channel through which site visitors can submit non-sensitive, HIPAA-compliant information, ask questions or make requests for services.
Registration Form Builder
Online Registration for any School of Medicine event. Provide online registration for events, meetings, seminars, conferences, non-curriculum courses, or any other gatherings of any size that require registration. All setup can be done online, for just about any kind of event or series of events.
Calendars Online

WebTrends Web Statistics
We support WebTrends, a software tool that provides in-depth analysis of a site’s traffic. Reports can be customized to show the number of visitors per page, the most popular pages, traffic flow over time or at a certain time of day, and much more.
Google Analytics Web Statistics (beta)
IRT also gathers Google Analytics (GA) data from all Stanford Medicine sites in the standard format. IRT is supporting the use of Google Analytics as a beta service for users with Google accounts.
Banner Slide Shows
These banner slide shows are often used on homepages as effective branding and marketing tools. We offer two versions of these Flash slide shows. Both are easily maintable and customizable.
Online Video
IRT supports two methods for delivering video on your Web site: progressive and streaming.
Audio
IRT supports two options for making audio available on your Web site: embed the audio as a downloadable file or use a Flash audio player.
Paging Service
As a customizable front-end application for the Stanford Smartpage system, this application supports the decentralized maintenance of customized pager directories for departments, divisions, residency programs and other users. This application can replace a number of home-grown textpaging directories that bypass the internal paging systems.
Custom/Vanity URLs
Your site will automatically be available online through an "hierarchical" URL such as http://med.stanford.edu/yoursite/. However, depending on your audience and marketing needs, you may want to give your site a custom URL such as http://yoursite.stanford.edu/.
