Any site located outside the school's central web environment is beyond the reach of our web development and support services. Moving your site to the central SoM server is a straight-forward process that requires you to independently retrieve all of your files from your original server and then pass them to us. For more details, see Hosting Services.
If your site has a custom domain like "abcxyz.stanford.edu" and you're not sure where your site is hosted, contact Web Help with the URL and we'll figure out where it is located. Any site with the following URL format is located on Stanford’s Leland server.
- http://www.stanford.edu/dept/
- http://www.stanford.edu/group/
If you wish to have IRT redesign or make significant changes to your Leland site and host it on IRT's server, your request will be handled as a new project. For more information, see Development Services.
