A number of School of Medicine Web sites are located on the Leland server, mostly in the /dept/ and /group/ directories: http://www.stanford.edu/dept/ and http://www.stanford.edu/group/
These sites are beyond the reach of IRT. If you wish to take over an existing site on Leland, your best bet is to use the HelpSU form to request assistance taking over the site. Be sure to include the full URL of the site you want to take over. There is some documentation for Leland sites, both personal and department/group.
Owners of School of Medicine sites on Leland are welcome to use IRT's services. If you wish to move your site from Leland to IRT's server (the School of Medicine server) IRT can host the site and advise you on having users redirected to the new location. It will be helpful if you can retrieve all your files from Leland, since IRT does not have access to the server, other than through the browser. For more details, see our Hosting Services.
If you wish to have IRT redesign or make significant changes to your Leland site and host it on IRT's server, your request will be handled as a new project. For more information, see our Development Services.
