How to Search the SoM Image Catalog

The SoM Image Catalog is an online repository of images created by the Web & New Media Services, the Office of Communications and the Office of Medical Development. Driven by the Cumulus digital asset management system, the catalog provides a central mechanism for the campus community and general public to access a wide range of school-related images for use in their communications.

Important notes:

All images are subject to the use restrictions of the photographer's licensing agreement
Secure permission for a specific use of an image before using it in comps or production
Allow at least a week for licensing research and image delivery

• Point your browser to http://irt-cumulus.stanford.edu/CumulusE/Standard/

• At the login page, click the Connect button. The server should remain as "localhost" and the username and password blank.

• On the next screen, click the Open button to view all images in the som_main catalogue.

• Browse for photos using the categories on the left or the search box at the top of the page.

• Use the icons associated with each thumbnail to:

View detailed information about a photo such as use restrictions or caption

Save an image to your collection basket

Icon is disabled. High-resolution images are not available for direct viewing through the cataolgue at this time.
