How to manage/edit a profile
- First, log into Maestro and navigate over to the ‘My Profile’ tab found along the top of the page
- Next, click on the ‘Edit Profile’ button to make the page editable
- You can now input or edit an additional email or alternate phone number in a SUnet ID profile, or edit any personal information field in a Guest profile.
- Once you’re done updating details, click the ‘Save Profile’’ button that appeared in place of the ‘Edit Profile’ button. Your updated information will be successfully saved in Maestro.
Note
The profile information found in the ‘My Profile’ tab is gathered from pre-existing data found linked to your SUnet ID. Therefore, SUnet ID profiles cannot be edited within Maestro for the most part; the only fields that can be altered within Maestro for a SUnet ID profile are Alternate Phone and Additional Email, which can both be added to, edited or deleted.
For SUnet ID profiles there is also the option of clicking on the link titled “Edit person information in StanfordYou” within the ‘My Profile’ tab which will re-direct you to the StanfordYou service where you can edit SUnet ID information.
If you do not have a SUnet ID, then the profile will be populated by information obtained from when you were added to the Maestro system. ‘Guest’ profiles like these are allowed to edit any profile information field in the ‘My Profile’ tab.
