The Network Infrastructure Upgrade Project is an independent project funded by the Medical School to specifically upgrade the network in the School in order to provide access to consistent, reliable, high-speed network service. The project includes a component to provide for continual upgrade of the School's network equipment to take advantage of new technologies as they become available. The existing network, installed over the last 15 years, is a blend of old and new technologies. The network upgrade project will establish a single, cohesive, and up-to-date network so that similar technologies are available at all Medical School locations.
