The IRT Networking unit is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, upgrading,
and expanding the computer network in the Medical School. We staff a HelpDesk which provides assistance to users with all of their networking needs. Examples of end-user services which we provide include:

• getting a new computer configured for our wired or wireless network
• getting a new printer configured for our network, and configuring
  computers to print to it
• getting computers set up to share files
• troubleshooting network connectivity problems
• troubleshooting network application (web browser, e-mail reader)
  problems
• network needs analysis, design, and installation for new or renovated
  space
• maintenance of and upgrades to the existing wired and wireless network infrastructure.
