Make sure user knows to stay in the area.

Verify and Update NETDB.

Make sure the computer is locked-down using irt-security's checklist.

Make sure you TCP/IP settings are configured correctly

Verify that the user has changed their sunetID password.

Verify what account the user is currently using. (This will identify what account you want to migrate)

Write down what shares and what letters they are using.

Check to see what the default printer is.

Check to see if the user is using any of the following software.
- Filemaker
- Dreamweaver
- Palm Pilot
- If a Palm device is being used, make sure a hotsync is done
-
Verify that the latest pc-leland is installed
- Migrate
