Post-Migration Checklist

  1. Add user SUNet to the local Administrator Group

  1. Have the user login-in using their SUNetID account. Then logout
  1. Login as the local administrator

  1. Copy the users old profile and paste it to the users new profile

  1. Login as New user

  1. Remap all folders for the user, either using existing server name, or new server name if the files were moving during the migration
  1. Re-map the default printer

  1. Verify Office, Dreamweaver, and Filemaker, work correctly if installed

  1. Reinstall the Palm Pilot Software. And verify that it works with the palm.

  1. Update all ESS Software
