A Message to All School of Medicine Windows Users

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING

IRT will be migrating everyone to the new server within the month. To minimize the downtime of computer access and server access we would like for everyone to do the following.

Please remove all files that are personal and not Stanford related items off the SERVER and Desktops. This is will help the migration process go faster. We WILL be removing any personal files left on the server and or your desktop computers.
New server migration requires all users to login to their computers using their SUNET ID’s. This means less password and login’s you will have to remember. One thing that must be done is everyone must refresh or change their current SUNET ID password. Please visit the link below to change your password.

Once logged in click on your SUNET ID on the right
Then click on “CHANGE” next to “Password for SUNet ID”

IF you have locked yourself out please follow the link below to reset your password http://sunetid.stanford.edu

Click on "Check status/ Reset password” Link and follow the steps.

It is very important that you do these steps by the early half of next week. Failure to do this will cause longer downtime, in getting your computer working.

YOU WILL NEED TO BE AT YOUR COMPUTER AT THE TIME OF MIGRATION USERS NOT IN THE AREA WILL BE SKIPPED.
