Application & Database Management

TDS supports databases and applications listed in the supported technology page as well as customer applications, which include a variety of vendor supplied software products.  We will assist in installing and configuring the application and integrating it into our support model as specified in our Service Level Agreement.

Database Administration Services

Database Administration includes the following services:

  • 8-5 M-F support
  • 24x7 best efforts support
  • Basic database maintenance and patching
  • Perform daily export backup
  • Perform operational monitoring
  • Setup a database account
  • Setup database
  • Setup monitoring
  • Single instance database (Oracle, SQL, Mysql)
  • User does schema, tables, views and procedures
  • User has full responsibility to run the database
  • Assist with minor Data Migrations / Updates
  • Assist with releases twice per quarter
  • Assist with testing of scripts
  • Migration from test to production
  • Occasionally assist with scripts
  • Assist and troubleshoot job failures
  • Assist with Data Migrations / Updates
  • Audit backups
  • Backup all transaction logs
  • Help rebuild environments
  • Monthly changes to vendor scripts Point in time recovery

Application Management Services

Application Administration includes the following services:

  • Basic application maintenance and patching
  • Perform daily backup of application backup files
  • Perform operational monitoring
  • Setup application specific server accounts
  • Setup back end database if required (see Database Administration)
  • Setup monitoring—User has full responsibility to administer the application
  • Assist with releases twice per quarter
  • Assist with testing of scripts
