| IRT Information |
The IRT Data Center is responsible for delivering high quality, professional data center services to support the teaching, research and patient care missions of the biomedical community at Stanford.
The IRT Data Center provides two facilities with high speed networking, secure firewall, electrical power, uninterruptible power supply, climate control, computer racks, system monitoring, remote console, and backup/recovery. From these facilities we provide the following services:
- Applications Administration: provide administration for applications on hosted systems
- Backup/Recovery: provide backup and recovery for hosted systems
- Hosting of computer systems: provide physical space for rack mounted computer systems
- Application Hosting: will host applications in our production environment
- Security: will make fire wall changes based on server needs and security requirements
- Systems Administration: Unix and Windows systems administration for hosted systems.
