Facilitating the businesses of the schoolIRT Administrative Systems & Technology works with School of Medicine staff and faculty to facilitate their use of University Administrative Systems & Technology and to develop and maintain school-specific Administrative Systems . IRT Administrative Systems & Technology is focused currently on replacing SoM mainframe-based applications, implementing Oracle Financials, and redesigning the School’s Decision Support system and reports to accommodate the new central systems and chart of accounts. Support for Central University Systems: Implementation support, data analysis, report specifications, user group facilitation, troubleshooting, advocacy, etc. Support for School of Medicine Administrative Systems & Technology: Needs analysis, feasibility study, design, development, training, and support for systems serving School of Medicine only. Decision Support Systems (DSS) and Strategic Analyses: Development and support of SoM decision support database and linkages with University DSS; development and maintenance of reports and analyses in support of strategic Dean’s Office decisions and processes, development of ad hoc and recurring reports against school and central system reporting databases. Strategic Planning: Participation in School-based strategic planning for Administrative Systems & Technology. Advocacy: Representation and articulation of School of Medicine systems needs and priorities via participation in University governance groups, advisory groups, user groups, etc. Current Projects: Projects currently underway
