Los Gatos girl recovering after jump rope severs hand
A six-year-old Los Gatos girl whose hand was severed by a jump rope is recovering and may regain motion in her hand. Jeffrey Yao, assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery, led a team of surgeons, including Nathan Menon, with the division of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Menon is quoted in this article.
