Exhibit on cigarette advertising opens in NYC
“Not a Cough in a Carload: Images Used by Tobacco Companies to Hide the Hazards of Smoking," an exhibit showcasing cigarette ads from the 1920s through the early 1950s, opened this week at the New York Public Library. The exhibit, which runs through Dec. 26, is the brainchild of Robert Jackler, the Edward C. and Amy H.
