Healthy Living Classes

HIP welcomes all members of the community to participate in our Healthy Living Program classes. Healthy Living classes draw from the biological, physical, behavioral, environmental, and medical sciences, as well as traditional medicine practices to provide the most effective, and enjoyable ­approaches to well-being. Each class is designed to educate and provide the skills to support sustainable, health-enhancing behavior change. We offer lectures, interactive workshops, webinars, online programs, and personalized consultations in the following categories:

Stanford University Employees:

STAP Funds
Most of HIP's Healthy Living classes are approved by Stanford HR Operations & Systems for STAP reimbursement. Look for “STAP/EA Funds: Yes” next to the class fee online and in the brochure. If you are Stanford University Employee working 50% time or more, you will be given the option to use your STAP funds for pre-approved Healthy Living classes at the time of registration.

BeWell Berries

Every HIP Healthy Living class qualifies for BeWell Berry credit. Look for the Berry type next to each Healthy Living class description. Benefits-eligible University employees enrolled in the current year BeWell program (http://bewell.stanford.edu/) will automatically be awarded a BeWell Berry for attending a Healthy Living class.

Stanford Health Care and LPCH Employees:

Educational Assistance (EA) Funds
Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and Stanford Health Care employees may use their Educational Assistance Funds(EA) towards approved HIP Healthy Living Classes. Look for “STAP/EA Funds: Yes” next to the class fee online and in the brochure. Register and pay for your class with a check or credit card and then process reimbursement with your HR Manager upon class completion. On request, HIP will send a certificate of class completion.

Log in to Axess. Choose: Training > STAP > STAP Balance.
