Dr. Henderson is Honorary Professor in Epidemiology at Aarhus University (Denmark), is a member of the medical and scientific advisory council of the Alzheimer’s Association (Northern California and Northern Nevada chapter), thinks ADEAR is a great source of information on Alzheimer’s disease, directs the Stanford Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, is past chair of the Geriatric Neurology section of the American Academy of Neurology, is secretary general and a member of the board executive committee for the International Menopause Society, is a member of the scientific advisory board for the John Douglas French Alzheimer’s Foundation, is a member of the National Aphasia Association advisory council, receives research support from the National Institute on Aging (NIH), and is past president of the North American Menopause Society.
