Welcome to the Stanford University Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship Program. We are thrilled that you have taken interest in our program. We offer ACGME-accredited training leading to certification in hematology, oncology, or both. Our mission is simple: to train world class investigators and leaders in hematology/oncology.

Our fellowship program provide's clinical training in benign and malignant hematology; oncology subspecialties; bone marrow transplantation and CAR-T cell therapy; palliative care medicine; and laboratory/transfusion medicine. Our fellows have direct access to faculty that provide mentorship in clinical, basic, or translational research in a variety of areas within hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplantation. Our faculty is dedicated to helping fellows achieve their goals, and early establishment of mentors is encouraged.

After their clinical rotations, our fellows receive protected research time and are encouraged to explore collaborative opportunities across the Stanford Campus. Whether it is working in a world renowned stem cell lab, being on the cutting edge of gene therapy for hemophilia, or collaborating in a chemistry lab, our fellows are encouraged to find their passion and use all of the resources that Stanford has to offer to ensure their individual needs are met. Located in Silicon Valley, our program is uniquely set up for industry collaboration. We aim to prepare trainees for careers in academic medicine and work tirelessly to ensure that they have what they need to succeed in the next stage of their careers.

Again, thank you for your interest into our program and we look forward to seeing you during the interview season!
