About Health Matters
Health Matters is a free community event sponsored by Stanford Medicine that explores the latest advancements in medicine and the health topics that matter most to you and your family. Join us this year for Health Matters on Saturday, May 20 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Health Matters will take place at the Stanford University School of Medicine campus.

Capacity at the talks is limited and preregistration is strongly suggested. Online registration deadline: May 16, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. PDT. After this date, you can only register for the talks on site.
Health Talks – We encourage you to arrive early to check in at the preregistration area. Your selection of a particular talk does not guarantee admittance. Talks are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Register here.
Health Pavilion – A collection of exhibits featuring interactive, hands-on attractions and activities for the whole family. A series of talks will be offered throughout the day at the nutrition and women’s health tents; check the program for times. Open 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. No registration necessary.
Med School Morning – Open to students in high school only. Preregistration is required for Med School Morning. Space is limited and no on site registration will be available for this program. Register here.
Refreshments and Food
Complimentary coffee will be provided in the morning, and water will be provided throughout the day. Delicious lunch options will be available for purchase from our Food Truck! Lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Lunch food truck options include Baba Kabob, Brother Baby’s BBQ, DUM Truck, Taqueria Angelica’s, Little Green Cyclo, and Blisspops.
