She has served in organizational leadership roles in multiple community support groups, including the board of the Irvine chapter of the National Charity League, several PTA boards and the Girl Scouts of America.

Chris's career has included teaching at the elementary school level. While teaching at high-needs schools in rural Louisiana, New Orleans, and Israel, Chris specialized in literacy instruction, digital learning tools, and teaching English as a foreign language. As an educator, Chris strives to help people think critically about complex problems, work creatively and collaboratively, and find joy in learning.
