Asili project receives Spectrum grant

Asili is a multi-sectoral project implemented by the American Refugee Committee and evaluated by Stanford/Packard Global Child Health program researchers.

  • The Global Child Health program received a Stanford Spectrum pilot population health sciences grant for a project titled, “Using anthropometrics to assess the impact of a novel multidisciplinary social enterprise intervention on population health in the Democratic Republic of Congo.” 

The project will add to the ongoing Asili project and will be led by Dr. Bonnie Maldonado and Dr. Marcella Alsan, MD, PhD, MPH, assistant professor of medicine. Spectrum grants fund teams of multidisciplinary investigators who are tackling health-care problems through novel approaches. Read more about the Spectrum grants here.
