The fourth annual global health intensive course, "Global Health: Beyond Diseases and International Organizations" (MED 233) took place in September.

Twenty-three physicians, post-doctoral researchers, and faculty, participated in the ten-day course. Each year, the course covers sessions ranging from economics, NGOs, the impact of climate change on health, to the treatment of malaria, presented by leading researchers from around the Bay Area. Sessions also offered hands-on learning in the laboratory and simulation rooms.

Applications for the 2016 course will be available on the CIGH website in early 2016.

MED 233 participants learn hands-on bedside ultrasound skills.
