CoINcIDE: A framework for discovery of patient subtypes across multiple datasets
We developed CoINcIDE, a meta-analysis framework for unsupervised analysis of gene expression data cohorts for diseases. Using CoINcIDE one can investigate if subgroups exist across a large database of cohorts. Our approach is unique as we are able to leverage many small-to-medium sized data sets to discover and validate gene expression based subgroups. We demonstrated CoINcIDE using a collection of breast and ovarian cancer gene expressiond data.
