The Stanford HPB Fellowship is a two-year accredited program, established July 2012, designed to train surgeons to be fully competent in patient evaluation, perioperative management, and operative techniques within HPB surgery for spectrum of benign and malignant HPB diseases. The Stanford HPB/Surgical Oncology Service is a very busy and growing clinical service offering terrific “substrate” for the advanced trainee. This experience offers an unparalleled opportunity for the trainee to achieve true clinical and technical excellence in this demanding field.
