Why I chose Stanford PM&R: The program impressed me with the faculty’s investment in education and the supportive culture that assists and encourages residents to pursue their personal interests, all within a setting of a well-rounded rotation schedule. Ultimately I was confident Stanford would train and assist me in obtaining the career I aspire to have and that I would be happy during the process.

Research Interests: Functional outcomes of non-operative management for musculoskeletal conditions, increasing patient physical activity levels, biologic therapies

Fun Facts: I donated my hair to lock of love twice, cycled across Europe, played football in Yankee Stadium and genuinely enjoy dad jokes.

Fun Facts: I took a gap year after graduating from high school in Taiwan. The original plan was to travel, work, and experience life in the States for a year. That one year has turned into many more years as I fell in love with the mountains and beaches in the States. I do miss my Taiwanese food though!

Why I chose Stanford PM&R: When I rotated at Stanford as a medical student I felt a strong connection with the residents and faculty. I chose Stanford because it is a well-rounded program that will expose me to all aspects of the field of physiatry.
