Facial Nerve Paralysis
The Center for Facial Nerve Disorders is a multidisciplinary group interested in the diagnosis, treatment and study of facial paralysis. Our goal is to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care to patients with facial nerve disorders. Our physicians are experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of facial nerve paralysis caused by skull base tumors, idiopathic facial nerve paralysis, degenerative neuropathy, and post-traumatic injury.
The practitioners involved have many years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of facial nerve disorders. Our physicians have expertise in skull base surgery, oncologic surgery, nerve transfer/grafting, free tissue transfer, oculoplastic surgery, and static and dynamic facial reanimation procedures. The development of a clinical and basic research program is an important element of this endeavor.
