iPads at the School of Medicine

iPads are used by a wide range of faculty members, students, researchers, and staff at the School of Medicine. Like many mobile devices, an iPad can perform a wide variety of functions depending on the needs and preferences of its user. For the past two years, iPads have been a way for the SOM community to explore the use of mobile devices in both education and clinical practice.

One thing we've learned is that the adoption of a mobile device in day-to-day life can vary a great deal from person to person, and the ways in which the devices are employed are often unique. There are a number of common uses and popular features though, and you can find out more about them by using the link on the right. If you still have questions or would like to discuss an idea, please contact EdTech.
