Instructional Design & Production
What do we offer?
Instructional Technology maintains and supports two studios, also known as "capture booths," for recording high-quality presentations, green-screen interviews and audio podcasts. These spaces have been used to create a wide variety of educational audio and video content for the School of Medicine, Stanford Hospital and Clinics, The Stanford Center for Continuing Medical Education, and online courses and tutorials on sites like Stanford Online, Coursera, Khan Academy, and NovoEd.

Podcast Audio Recording
Our booth in LK312 is outfitted with a podcast station for recording audio clips and interviews using high-quality microphones, a mixer, and sound-recording software.
Green-screen and On Camera Video Recording
Our booth in LK311D contains a permanent green-screen wall and lighting for filming videos and interviews that require background visual effects.
The Instructional Technology team provides booth support to faculty and staff upon request. For every new user, we will provide basic training and orientation to the booths. If further support is needed, please note it in the reservation request and include a brief description of the project or specific need.
There are two capture booths available for reservation, LK311D and LK312, both of which are located in the LKSC building at the School of Medicine. A reservation is required to use the booths. You schedule booth access using the Booth Reservation Forms below. Please come to LK300 at the time of your reservation to gain access to your reserved booth.
Flipped classroom content creation and video/image/audio editing can be completed in either booth.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to cancel or change an existing reservation.
