Personal Counseling and Resources

  • Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) – located on the 2nd floor of Vaden Health Center, it provides access to professional counseling. The number to call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week is 650-723-3785. A professional CAPS counselor will call you back ASAP.
  • Sexual Harassment Policy Office – resource for advice and referrals about sexual harassment issues at Stanford.
  • The Office of Sexual Assault & Relationship Abuse Education & Response (SARA)- many resources on the website concerning sexual misconduct, sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking, relationship abuse, and more.   • SHPRC— the Stanford Sexual Health Peer Resource Center
  • Stanford Survivor’s Group – This female-only group provides peer support to survivors of sexual assault, rape, domestic violence, and relationship abuse.   • Stanford Department of Psychiatry – located right off campus across the street from the Stanford Shopping Center, the department is a part of the School of Medicine and hosts numerous other mental health professionals and clinics. Confirm with your insurance company.
