Yi-Ren Chen, MD
Yi-Ren grew up in Taiwan and immigrated to the United States in ninth grade. After double majoring in biology and history at Stanford, he received his MD from Stanford and MPH from Johns Hopkins. His research interests include studying eye movement as a precise measurement of brain function, disease progression and treatment in patients with neurological disorders and evaluating predictors for poor clinical outcomes after neurosurgery. Outside of the hospital, Yi-Ren enjoys playing jazz, mountain biking, cooking, and pencil sketching.
